Let me present you with a familiar line: “She’s the best thing that ever happened to me.” Do you think you could tell me how that sentence sets with you? I would love to know. If you don’t want to write anything, how about just a simple vote: Is it romantic or not? How would you feel if someone said that about you? Great, Okay, or No thanks.
Oh, and there’s this: I submitted a story and got this reply: “We like your little story and would like to publich it.” It’s such a validation. For a writer, there’s nothing that feels as good as that. I’ll tell you when it will be in print when they tell me, but for now, I’m just enjoying the feeling and thought I’d share it.
